This Housekeeping Aide role supports client and family centered care within Vancouver Coastal Health. You will clean clinical and non-clinical areas, maintain facility cleanliness, and handle waste, linen, and spills. The work follows organizational policies, procedures, routines, and VCH values.
Key Responsibilities: Damp dust, dry mop, and wet mop floors
Clean and disinfect rooms, washrooms, beds, walls, and equipment
Collect and remove regular and biomedical waste
Complete spill clean-up and bed-making duties
Maintain facility cleanliness using appropriate equipment
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
Ability to deal effectively with others
