Support play-based learning as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students. Collaborate with teachers across a full-day Early Learning Program.
This 100% term position supports children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. Working under the Principal’s direction, you will collaborate with classroom teachers, lead extended programming, and participate in daily classroom activities. The work serves students in designated elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high quality play-based education for Kindergarten students
Support cognitive, emotional, and social development
Collaborate with classroom teachers during daily activities




Lead before- and after-school extended programming
Model healthy adult-child relationships and positive discipline
Requirements: Two-year Early Childhood Education college program or equivalent
Registration and valuable standing with Ontario’s Early Childhood Educators College
Minimum one year of child care experience
Valid First Aid certification and CPR
Ability to communicate with children, families, and staff
Bring early childhood development knowledge, creativity, and collaboration to the OCDSB’s full-day Kindergarten learning community.
