Operate snowplows and heavy equipment with Ledcor Highways Ltd. across Ontario. Maintain local highways through winter conditions, shift work, and on-call schedules.
This winter seasonal operator position runs from October 1 through April 30. You will maintain Ontario Provincial Highways while supporting labourer duties, including repairs, cleaning, and hazard remediation. The work requires a valid AZ or DZ license with air endorsement, physical capability, and outdoor readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplows and wheel loaders as required
Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways throughout winter operations
Assist with pothole and guardrail repairs
Clean bridges and highway signage
Remediate hazards while working outdoors
Requirements: Valid AZ or DZ driver's license with air endorsement
Three-year commercial driver's abstract
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch
Snowplow truck or wheel loader experience preferred
