Class B Refrigeration Operators at Loblaw maintain critical equipment, troubleshoot temperature issues, and support facility repairs across rotating shifts.
Working under the Maintenance Manager or Chief Refrigeration Operator, you will maintain refrigeration systems and ideal temperatures. The position also covers facility repairs involving HVAC, boilers, plumbing, docks, racking, and material handling equipment. You will support contractors, safety compliance, emergency response, and preventative maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities: Investigate refrigeration, air quality, and temperature issues
Conduct preventative maintenance and refrigeration temperature readings
Complete repairs across facility systems and equipment




Work alongside contractors during daily maintenance activities
Respond to critical building infrastructure emergencies
Requirements: Class B Refrigeration Operator certificate or equivalent
Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Material handling repair skills and structural knowledge
Availability for day, afternoon, or night shifts
