As a Porter on the Environmental Services team, you will move patients, charts, specimens, pharmaceuticals, equipment, waste, and recycling. The approximately 12-month contract includes rotating schedules from Monday to Sunday, with hours subject to operational needs. Recent related experience, effective communication, and physical ability are required for this hospital workplace.
Key Responsibilities: Follow established procedures within the patient flow system
Transport patients and hospital items safely and efficiently
Operate hand-held technology to accept and complete tasks




Collect and clean equipment as necessary
Assist with assigned facility transport activities
Requirements: Recent related experience in a similar environment
Ability to operate stretchers, wheelchairs, and similar equipment
English verbal communication and literacy skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
