As a Quality Assurance Technician and Inspector, you will support quality control operations within an rPET recycling facility. The position ensures finished flakes meet internal, customer, and regulatory specifications. Your work combines contamination identification, laboratory testing, equipment verification, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Perform flake quality testing and calculate contamination PPM
Conduct bake, pH differential, moisture, IV, and sizing tests
Verify metal detection equipment and calibrate QA instruments
Record results in data management systems and QA logs
Identify non-conforming material and place it on HOLD
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in QA, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
Solid attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Basic computer and data entry skills
Plastics, recycling, or polymer experience preferred
