Medical billing data entry specialists use Softatcis to record patient demographics, insurance information, tests, and diagnoses accurately. This position requires continuous typing and organized computer work.
Working under the Data Entry Supervisor’s direction, training, and supervision, you will process requisitions and billing information. The work involves payer types, lab tests, CPT codes, ICD-9 codes, DataFlex, and Seacoast software. You will support customer satisfaction through cost-effective administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Enter patient and billing information in Softatcis
Understand requisition distribution from each program
Alert the Supervisor about system or requisition abnormalities




Correct returned unbillables and supervisor corrections
Complete temporary reports and submit them daily
Requirements: High School Diploma
Basic computer, filing, organization, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of payer types, lab tests, CPT, and ICD-9 codes
Knowledge of DataFlex and Seacoast software
Ability to communicate, adapt, and work independently or collaboratively
Apply medical billing, coding knowledge, and accurate data entry skills while processing requisitions and patient information in Softatcis.
