The Salvation Army seeks a daytime Kettle Area Team Lead for a seasonal fixed-term contract. You will oversee several locations across shopping malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. The work centers on volunteer coordination, donation security, daily communication, and customer service throughout the campaign.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise, support, and assign Kettle volunteers throughout the campaign
Visit locations during shift changes and intermittently
Ensure donations reach secure locations after completed shifts
Communicate daily issues and supply deficiencies to coordinators
Respond to donor questions about Salvation Army ministries
Requirements: Minimum one year of related or customer service experience
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
Satisfactory background check and Driver’s Abstract
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
