As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist Journeyperson Plumbers with plumbing and heating installations, maintenance, and repairs. Silent-Aire designs and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions as a wholly owned Johnson Controls subsidiary. This manufacturing setting requires safety awareness, careful prioritization, and reliable transportation for commuting.
Key Responsibilities: Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with plumbing and heating requirements
Braze and solder copper pipe
Work with PVC pipe and hand tools
Complete proper cleanup for safe, efficient work
Follow Silent-Aire safety standards and Alberta requirements
Requirements: Registered Alberta Plumbing Apprentice enrolled in recognized trade school
Ability to work under Journeyperson supervision
Experience with hand and power tools
Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Develop plumbing, heating, and repair expertise while supporting safe manufacturing operations at Silent-Aire’s Nisku facility.
