Operate loaders, cranes, and grapple cranes at Interpro Prairie Recycling Inc. while safely handling ferrous materials and coordinating yard traffic.
The Equipment Operator supports efficient yard operations by loading, unloading, sorting, and stockpiling ferrous materials. This work requires equipment operation, preventative maintenance, radio communication, and accurate records. You will collaborate with scale operators, office staff, and yard personnel to keep material movement organized and secure.
Key Responsibilities: Operate loaders, cranes, grapple cranes, shears, and related equipment
Load trucks with accurate weights and communicate through radio
Unload ferrous material transports and sweep excess trailer material




Sort metals and stockpile materials in designated areas
Check fluids and complete required preventative maintenance
Requirements: High school completion or equivalent
Minimum one year operating heavy equipment within three years
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of yard operations and ferrous classifications
Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds
Bring safe equipment operation, radio communication, and ferrous material knowledge to Interpro Prairie Recycling Inc.'s yard operations.
