Deliver friendly customer service as a Deli Utility Clerk with Calgary Co-op, supporting safe, effective, and organized deli operations. Use deli product knowledge while serving members.
The Deli Utility Clerk reports to the Deli Supervisor or Deli Manager. You will handle customer questions, stock displays, prepare deli platters, and maintain product quality. The position also includes ordering, receiving, inventory, cleaning, equipment care, and food safety duties. In locations with applicable services, you may support liquor compliance, Bistro preparation, or deli till operations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly service and respond to customer questions
Stock displays, face products, and maintain presentation
Prepare deli platters and operate roasters




Receive merchandise, verify invoices, and store products properly
Clean fixtures, floors, back stock areas, and spills
Requirements: Grade 9 or acceptable education and experience combination
Bakery retail or related retail experience
Fluency in English
Deli product knowledge or experience
Ability to follow food safety and occupational safety policies
Bring customer service, deli knowledge, stocking, and safe food handling skills to Calgary Co-op’s member-focused retail operation.
