Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance seeks a Registered Nurse for Stratford General Hospital’s Inpatient Surgical Unit. Required capabilities include venepuncture, central venous and PIC line care, medication administration, glucose monitoring, and clinical documentation using Meditech. The role also requires patient education, planning, organization, and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities: Initiate intravenous therapy through venepuncture
Maintain, draw blood, and discontinue central venous lines
Manage postoperative PCA pumps and TPN




Provide enteral feeding and chest tube management
Document clinical care using Meditech
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Current Basic Life Support certificate
Recent surgical nursing courses or in-services
Physical assessment course with strong assessment skills
Minimum two years recent related clinical experience preferred
