Safely transport students as an Equipment Operator II and School Bus Driver while completing inspections, logs, and vehicle maintenance duties.
NLSchools requires this position for pre-planned school routes and events where applicable. The work combines student supervision, incident reporting, minor repairs, cleanliness, and scheduled caretaker maintenance. Snow clearing and ice control are also included.
Key Responsibilities: Transport students safely to and from schools
Supervise students while operating assigned buses
Complete daily and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain motor vehicle log books and vehicle cleanliness
Perform minor repairs, snow clearing, and ice control
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Class 9 air brake endorsement and Class 2 beginners
Willingness to obtain a Class 2 driver's licence
First aid certification with Level C CPR
Suitable conduct, vulnerable sector, and driver's abstract checks
Bring secure driving, student supervision, inspection, and maintenance capabilities to NLSchools' Equipment Operator II position.
