Our Labourers have a starting wage range of $21-26 per hour based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.
Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and energetic Labourer to join our Supply chain team in Chilliwack, BC.
Working as part of a strong and cooperative team at Advanced Flow Systems, the Labourer will support in a variety of jobs to assist in production and shop upkeep.
Essential Functions for this Role are: Perform general tasks or general labour as required in a manufacturing environment
Assist with handling and moving raw materials and finished product as needed
Assist with shop improvement projects
Label, package, and prepare finished products as needed




Perform general shop cleaning and upkeep
Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
Operate a Forklift or Electric Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move product within the manufacturing facility
Work in accordance with the quality management system
Complete all applicable quality records
Maintain a safe work environment, including good housekeeping, proper lifting techniques and proper use of all materials i.e., box cutters
Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required: Power tool experience required
Experience with maintaining and/or operating a forklift and/or heavy equipment an asset
6 months to 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
Fast learner
A mechanical background is considered an asset
Overhead crane experience is an asset
Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize effectively
Positive outgoing attitude; with a professional demeanor
Read and understand processing, handling and application requirements for all materials
Knowledge of OHS legislation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
