Location & Requirements
Location: Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux, Quebec (Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the DDO area)
In‑person role (please be able to commute; no online option or relocation packages)
Vulnerable sector screening mandatory
Commitment until the end of the term in June (continuing through summer is preferred)
Education & Experience
CEGEP or Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field (teaching certification an asset)
Good knowledge of the current Grades 7 to 11 math curriculum, especially senior math (advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors)
Experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 7–11 level
Strong English written and oral communication skills
Robust math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
Responsibilities
Teach up to three students at a time, across different levels
Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
Work as an Interactive Coach, guiding students’ understanding and confidence
