This permanent full-time float position guarantees 30 hours weekly, with Monday-to-Friday shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will obtain blood samples, perform patient tests, and provide empathetic customer service while supporting Dynacare’s quality standards. The position serves Midland, Bracebridge, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain quality blood samples through skillful venipuncture techniques
Collect specimens and perform ECGs, Holter hookups, and screenings
Enter patient and test information accurately for requisitions




Prepare specimens and documentation for laboratory transportation
Maintain confidentiality and contribute to quality metrics
Requirements: Secondary School completion and laboratory assistant training
Specialized phlebotomy training through medical laboratory assistance coursework
Customer-focused approach with genuine patient care
Ability to reassure anxious patients during sample collection
Robust English communication and detail orientation
