Ontario Northland seeks a Spare Express Freight Services Worker for its Rail Transportation department. Reporting to the Supervisor Express and Heavy Freight, you will support freight, yard, train, and express activities. The work helps maintain the all-season transportation link serving Moosonee, Moose Factory, and the James Bay Coast.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate inventory records for yard, train, and express activities
Communicate shipping rates, details, timelines, and prepare waybills
Place local freight and dispatch transship freight correctly




Weigh outgoing traffic and record details on waybills
Load baggage, vehicles, and freight using warehouse equipment
Requirements: Secondary School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Availability for outdoor work, shifts, and weekends
Valid G2 or G driver's license required
Computer, communication, and keyboarding skills
Bring dependable freight handling, customer service, and equipment operation skills to Ontario Northland's Moosonee rail operations.
