Protect Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s stores through asset protection leadership, investigations, compliance, and shrink reduction during a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager, this manager safeguards people, property, and proprietary information. The position leads retail asset protection programming, audits store procedures, addresses training gaps, and reduces theft, fraud, and inventory loss. Partnerships with employees, police, regulatory agencies, and local asset protection teams support operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, analyze, and lead asset protection functions
Identify operational changes that reduce shrink and profit loss
Ensure firearms, explosives, and inspection regulatory compliance




Lead investigations and develop criminal activity case files
Promote shrink elimination education, awareness, and training
Requirements: Two to four years of retail asset protection experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
Possess or qualify for restricted and non-restricted PAL
Possess or qualify for a provincial Security Guard License
Experience with CCTV, card access, burglar, and exception reporting systems
Apply asset protection leadership, investigative expertise, and security systems knowledge to protect Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s retail operations.
