Move trailers efficiently as a Bilingual Lead Shunter at XTL Transport’s Varennes Terminal, using yard coordination and daily vehicle inspections. Work Tuesday to Saturday, 5am to 3pm.
This permanent position supports trailer and container movement throughout the yard. You will open and close doors, handle security seals, and maintain inventory. The role also includes truck management, communication with the Operations Technician, and trailer driving when required.
Key Responsibilities: Move trailers and containers around the yard
Open and close trailer and container doors
Lead the team when the lead shunter is absent
Manage trailer and container inventory
Perform daily truck inspections and related duties
Requirements: Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s license
Valuable driving record and physical condition
Experience in a similar position
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Occupational Health and Safety awareness
Bring bilingual communication, yard movement, and inspection experience to XTL Transport’s permanent Varennes shunter position.
