The Cowichan Valley Regional District seeks a Planner II or III for Land Use Services. Reporting to planning leadership, this position supports long-term growth objectives through development applications, community planning, and related initiatives. The initial assignment is within Development Services.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional land use planning expertise
Support development applications and long-range planning initiatives
Collaborate with CVRD divisions, agencies, and First Nations
Serve applicants, the public, and elected officials
Support community planning and long-term growth objectives
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in planning or related field
Planner II: four years of related experience
Planner III: eight years of related experience
MCIP and RPP membership or eligibility
Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
Bring land use planning expertise and collaborative service skills to the CVRD’s Development Services work in Duncan.
