Lead transmission and distribution crews as a Power Line Technician Foreperson with Aecon in Manitoba. Coordinate secure field construction and maintenance activities.
Reporting to the Superintendent, this Foreperson role leads PLT crews across construction, maintenance, and outage response activities. The work requires utility construction knowledge, electrical systems expertise, safety compliance, and daily field planning. You will coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and documentation while supporting overhead and underground infrastructure work.
Key Responsibilities: Lead PLT crews performing transmission and distribution activities
Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and daily operations
Conduct tailboard meetings and hazard assessments




Oversee overhead and underground electrical infrastructure work
Respond to planned and emergency outages
Requirements: Minimum five years in utility construction or maintenance
Previous leadership or crew supervision experience
Knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages
Valid Driver's Licence; Class 1 or 3 considered an asset
Bring powerline leadership, safety planning, and utility construction expertise to Aecon’s Manitoba field operations as a PLT Foreperson.
