Deliver renal nursing care at Surrey Memorial Hospital using nephrology expertise, comprehensive assessment, and person-centered practice. This is a casual position in Surrey, B.C.
Fraser Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Hemodialysis team. The position requires post-graduate specialty education in Nephrology, or interest in pursuing sponsored specialty education. You will assess patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with families, Physicians, and inter-professional teams. Clinical nursing experience and BCCNM registration are required.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patients on admission and at regular intervals
Plan, provide, and evaluate nursing interventions
Coordinate care plans with patients, families, and care teams




Teach patients and families about self-care and discharge planning
Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals
Requirements: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
Two years of recent related clinical nursing experience
Post-graduate Nephrology education or applicable clinical certification
Ability to initiate intravenous therapy and recognize acuity changes
