Assess inpatient clients and recommend safe recovery plans as a part time Physiotherapist at Scarborough Health Network’s General Site. Work across all shifts.
As a Physiotherapist within SHN’s inter-professional team, you will provide comprehensive services across varied inpatient areas. You will assess clients, maximize safety and function, and support individual recovery. The position also includes collaboration with community providers and patient families.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive physiotherapy services in inpatient areas
Assess clients and recommend safety-focused functional plans
Participate in program development and evaluation activities
Attend team meetings and inter-professional patient conferences
Liaise with community providers and advocate for clients
Requirements: Registration with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
Valid Basic Life Support certification
Experience with multiple co-morbidities is required
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within an inter-skilled team
Use assessment, communication, and care-planning skills to support safe functional recovery for inpatient clients across SHN.
