This summer internship supports ESG integration and climate-related decision-making across Manulife’s global investment portfolio. You will research regulations, market practices, and sustainable finance trends while assessing material risks and opportunities. The work connects Investments, Risk, Finance, Data, and Sustainability colleagues on priority initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Research ESG, climate, and sustainable finance trends and regulations
Support climate risk analysis across public and private investments
Analyze emissions and other portfolio climate metrics




Contribute to regulatory and internal reporting improvements
Translate findings into presentations, briefings, and practical insights
Requirements: Currently enrolled in finance, economics, business, or sustainability studies
Research, analytical, and information synthesis abilities
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Build ESG, climate analysis, and sustainable finance experience while supporting Manulife’s General Account investment initiatives.
