Farm Boy seeks an Assistant Meat Department Manager skilled in customer service, team coaching, and daily grocery operations. Supportive leadership shapes every shift.
Work alongside the Department Manager to execute strategies, achieve performance objectives, and maintain a high-performing department. Train, coach, motivate, and recognize team members while maintaining trust, confidentiality, and professionalism. Coordinate service, merchandising, staffing, cleanliness, inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver warm, confident, engaging customer service
Lead team huddles and share departmental goals
Support training, coaching, motivation, and recognition
Maintain merchandising, rotation, staffing, and cleanliness




Promote Protected Food Handling and Health & Safety compliance
Requirements: Post-secondary business education or equivalent combination
Minimum one year supervisory or management experience
Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Comfort using manual and automated computer systems
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
