William Osler Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for its Mental Health program. This nine-month temporary, full-time contract serves N. MH General B. The RN provides regulated nursing care within an inter-professional team and follows Osler, College of Nurses of Ontario, and legislative standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Provide compassionate, professional, patient-centred nursing care
Recognize health changes and respond to emergencies
Teach patients and families, including discharge instructions
Practice infection prevention and control measures
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
Minimum three years of mental health experience within five years
Crisis experience and crisis intervention model knowledge
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
