Reporting to the Store Manager, the Stock Manager maintains operational integrity and develops a core stock team. The position requires management experience, presentation skills, customer understanding, and buy-in building. Success also depends on an upbeat, optimistic, passionate, and friendly approach.
Key Responsibilities: Process merchandise receipts promptly and prioritize inventory flow
Organize the backroom according to company standards
Maintain replenishment across styles, colours, and sizes
Execute receiving, transfers, damages, and compliance procedures
Recruit, onboard, assess, and develop stock associates
Requirements: Two or more years of management experience
Preferably retail apparel management experience
Excellent presentation skills in a retail environment
Ability to understand customer needs
Ability to build buy-in for decisions and services
Bring inventory leadership, replenishment expertise, and stock team development to Roots as a retail Stock Manager.
