As a Cook, you will prepare, cook, and plate meals for Chartwell residents. The position requires previous food services cooking experience, Food Handler certification, and effective communication. You will also maintain sanitary preparation areas, support food supply tasks, and follow safe handling requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and plate food according to Chartwell menus
Follow public health and safe food handling regulations
Keep preparation areas and equipment sanitary
Serve meals on time and at correct temperatures
Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing supplies
Requirements: Previous cooking experience in food services
Food Handler certification
Cooperative approach as a team member
Effective communication with internal and external customers
Ability to stand, lift, and carry heavy items
