This faculty role serves learners through hands-on, dynamic, and engaging instruction. The successful educator designs relevant learning experiences, supports curiosity, and connects classroom learning with students’ lives. Collaboration, inclusion, empathy, and professional renewal are central to the role.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver hands-on, energetic, and engaging learning programs
Foster curiosity through scientific concepts and experiments
Connect learning to students’ lives and experiences
Co-create learning experiences with students
Build networks in and beyond the classroom




Requirements: Ontario Teacher Certification with Primary Qualifications
Deep knowledge of Ontario curriculum and Growing Success Policies
Differentiate instruction for diverse learner needs and interests
Experience with interdisciplinary curriculum design, PBL, Backwards Design, or UDL
Understanding of math, literacy, technology, and learner-centered instruction
Support Lower School learners through inclusive, inquiry-based instruction, collaboration, assessment, and meaningful curriculum design at HTS.
