Maintain production equipment in person at High Liner Foods’ Lunenburg plant using mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.
This full-time unionized Journeyman Millwright position supports Lunenburg Operations within a production workplace. You will perform general mechanical work, use hand and powered tools, and complete in-house training before receiving a shift assignment by seniority. The schedule includes eight-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Repair and maintain production equipment and machinery
Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
Perform general mechanical work in production
Use hand and powered tools safely
Complete other projects and duties as required
Requirements: Journeyman Millwright certification
Work independently with minimal supervision
Follow instruction manuals and troubleshoot equipment
Inspect machinery for pinch points and safety hazards
Work rotating shifts and maintain plant safety
Apply Journeyman Millwright certification, troubleshooting ability, and mechanical maintenance skills to High Liner Foods’ Lunenburg operations.
