Support people-centered care with Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Health Care Aide requiring organized teamwork and effective communication. Evening, night, and weekend work may occur.
This Health Care Aide position serves a vibrant, diverse region caring for people throughout their lives. A recognized Health Care Aide Certificate and current Basic Life Support certification are required. Experience in health care, especially with elderly or disabled clients, is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Organize and prioritize assigned workload effectively
Perform as a team member and seek assistance
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Respect confidentiality across paper and electronic formats
Travel to regional facilities as duties require
Requirements: Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
One to two years’ health care experience preferred
English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Ability to meet physical and mental job demands
Bring health care experience, confidentiality awareness, and team-oriented communication to Health Care Aide services across Southern Health-Santé Sud.
