The Retail Manager oversees one or more specialized merchandise departments within a Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s location. This full-time leadership role drives sales, merchandising, inventory control, pricing, and staff development. The manager also serves as Manager on Duty while supporting operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Grow business and people across specialized merchandise departments
Deliver world-class customer service and productive shopping experiences
Execute sales events, financial plans, and merchandise presentation
Open and close the store as Manager on Duty
Interview, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate Outfitters
Requirements: Three to five years of retail management experience
Responsibility for sales and merchandising
Ability to analyze reports, data, figures, and percentages
Solid interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
Ability to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License
