Support student health in office at The Bishop Strachan School as a Relief Wellness Nurse using strong clinical and emergency skills. Work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on an as-needed basis.
This casual nurse supports Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 students and parents. The position provides individualized care, responds to emergencies, and supports an effective Wellness Centre. It also manages health data, medications, vaccinations, and communication with families and medical specialists.
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized nursing care for day and Boarding students
Respond to school health emergencies and EMS calls
Manage health records, retention, storage, and destruction processes
Dispense medications and manage inventory, storage, and disposal




Administer flu shots, vaccinations, and required medical testing
Requirements: Related post-secondary nursing education and current Ontario registration
Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience working with youth, preferably in education
Strong clinical skills and emergency experience
Strong interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
Bring clinical judgment, emergency response, and compassionate student care to The Bishop Strachan School’s Wellness Centre.
