Support clean, secure patient environments at Halton Healthcare as a full-time Helper 1 using healthcare cleaning and disinfection methods. Monday to Sunday day shifts.
As part of Environmental Services, the Helper 1 cleans public and clinical areas for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use methods approved by Housekeeping and Infection Control departments while washing floors, ceilings, and walls. The role also includes cleaning inside windows and completing related duties as required.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect public and clinical healthcare areas
Use Housekeeping and Infection Control approved methods
Wash floors, ceilings, and walls
Clean inside windows throughout assigned areas
Complete related Environmental Services duties as required
Requirements: High School Diploma required
Recent related healthcare experience preferred
Work effectively in a team setting
Understand instructions and read product labels
Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 30 pounds
Bring cleaning, communication, and independent work skills to help maintain safe patient environments at Halton Healthcare every day.
