Install and troubleshoot wireless communications equipment as a Tower Service Technician with Tridon Communications in Fort McMurray. Apply networking or radio systems expertise.
This local position supports wireless infrastructure, data communications, and telecom services across diverse environments. You will install PTP and PTMP systems, structured cabling, antennas, brackets, and connectors. The work includes testing, programming, diagnostics, inspections, and tower climbing up to 500 feet.
Key Responsibilities: Install and service PTP and PTMP wireless systems
Test Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, and fiber cabling
Program and diagnose radio communications systems
Conduct site surveys and tower inspections




Tow and deploy portable towers and trailers
Requirements: Minimum three years of tower or telecommunications experience
Knowledge of telecom networking requirements and standards
Experience with tools, testing equipment, and installation materials
Ability to work safely at heights and hazardous environments
Valid driver’s license and clean five-year driver’s abstract
Bring RF knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and safety awareness to Tridon Communications tower and wireless infrastructure projects.
