New Westminster’s City Information Technology Division needs an experienced Systems Analyst/Programmer skilled in AMI testing and SQL. Hybrid remote work is available.
This temporary full-time, six-month position supports advanced metering infrastructure implementation. You will test AMI systems, web-based applications, and integrations while validating business and user requirements. The work includes collaboration with developers, business analysts, application owners, vendors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Design test strategies, plans, cases, and reports
Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
Test complex end-to-end AMI systems and services
Track, analyze, and document defects for resolution
Communicate testing progress and present stakeholder proposals
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
At least five years as a Systems Analyst/Programmer
Experience testing AMI projects and web applications
Experience with HP Quality Center or similar tools
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
