Support student learning through behaviour coaching, classroom management, and inclusive programming with Portage la Prairie School Division. This position commences January 4, 2027.
The Behaviour Coach supports the Division’s educational programs for students with diverse needs. Candidates bring teaching, assessment, and organizational skills, along with experience supporting behaviourally or emotionally challenged students. Collaboration with colleagues, student support teams, and division leaders is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, teach, and assess student learning
Support diverse learning needs across school programs
Create positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environments




Apply effective classroom management and organizational skills
Collaborate with support teams and division leaders
Requirements: Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate in good standing
Special Education and/or Counsellor’s Certificate
Experience with behaviourally or emotionally challenged students
Experience in primary education programming
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Use teaching, assessment, and behaviour support expertise to serve diverse learners with Portage la Prairie School Division.
