Receiving Associates unload carrier shipments, verify quantities and quality, and enter incoming merchandise information into store systems. The work includes RGR and DGR receipts, powered lift equipment, stocking, order picking when assigned, and customer conversations. Attention to detail and procedure-following are essential.
Key Responsibilities: Unload inbound freight using designated equipment and safety procedures
Compare shipping documents, labels, and purchase orders
Enter merchandise information into receiving systems




Stock shelves, build promotions, and maintain overheads
Approach customers and determine project needs
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of receiving experience
License to use powered lift equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to procedures
Ability to lift, move, climb, bend, and stand
Apply receiving experience, freight accuracy, equipment operation, and customer service skills to support The Home Depot store operations.
