Operate forklifts safely at Emterra Group’s recycling plant while moving bins and bales in support of daily operations.
The Equipment Operator reports to the Plant Manager and performs safe, productive forklift work as directed by Supervisors. Duties include moving materials, assisting shipping and receiving, inspecting equipment, and documenting inspections. Experience in waste and recycling is an asset.
Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Move bins and bales throughout the recycling plant
Assist with shipping and receiving activities
Complete daily equipment inspections and documentation
Communicate concerns or suggestions to Supervisors and Management
Requirements: Forklift operating certification and training
Waste and recycling industry experience is an asset
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to perform physical requirements
English speaking, reading, and writing ability
Bring certified forklift operation, equipment inspection, and material-handling skills to Emterra Group’s recycling operations.
