Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a casual Health Care Aide for its Operating Room department. Under nursing team-leader direction, you will assist residents and patients according to care plans. The position requires communication, organization, confidentiality, and culturally respectful care.
Key Responsibilities: Support residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living
Follow established care plans and standards of practice
Determine work priorities and methods using independent judgment
Seek assistance when needed while working as a team member
Maintain competency through education and certifications
Requirements: Grade 12 and recognized Health Care Aide Certificate
Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
One to two years’ health care experience preferred
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to meet physical and mental job demands
Bring daily living assistance, communication, confidentiality, and person-centered care to Southern Health-Santé Sud’s Winkler team.
