Prepare resident meals and support food services at Taylor View Towers through menu planning, modified diets, and team leadership. The Cook works onsite in the community.
This Cook supports the food services team and reports to the Executive Chef, also known as the Food Services Manager. Responsibilities span meal preparation, inventory, food service, resident engagement, training, and administration. The position supports meaningful experiences for residents and Employee Care Partners.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality meals following the menu cycle
Prepare off-menu items for modified diets
Order and coordinate food services inventory
Support scheduling, recruitment, orientation, and training
Audit cleanliness, feedback, records, and inspection readiness
Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent required
Food Protected Certificate required
Formal Food Service training preferred
Three to five years large-scale commercial cooking accepted
Experience leading others in food service required
Bring food preparation, resident service, leadership, and safety knowledge to the Cook team at Taylor View Towers.
