Schlegel Villages seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for Long Term Care at its Village of Taunton Mills. This temporary part-time position works 30 hours bi-weekly on a rotating four-days-in-two-weeks schedule, including every other weekend. Responsibilities include safe medication and treatment administration, care-plan updates, resident advocacy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Follow care plans and report resident well-being changes
Update care plans with physician directions




Advocate for residents during care decisions and transfers
Support resident-centered personal care and move-ins
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Existing Heart Save Level of CPR
Proficient communication and computer skills
Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and TB screening
Understanding of Long-Term Care legislation and regulations
Use RPN registration, clinical accuracy, and resident advocacy to support quality care at Taunton Mills in Whitby.
