The Waterloo Catholic District School Board seeks a Level 7 Child and Youth Care Worker. Working with school and Board personnel, you will assess student needs, create intervention plans, and deliver individual or small-group programs. Collaboration with community agencies supports student needs.
Key Responsibilities: Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Create and support appropriate intervention plans
Deliver bullying prevention and self-esteem programs
Teach social skills, conflict resolution, and emotion management
Liaise with school staff and community agencies
Requirements: Three-year Child and Youth Care Worker diploma
Minimum two years of similar work experience
Experience supporting students with autism or behavioural difficulties
Experience using data to understand behaviour
Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle
