YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a Temporary Lunchtime Supervisor under the School Principal’s direction. You will supervise children indoors and outdoors, encourage respectful interactions, and communicate concerns or incidents. The position supports a safe, caring, positive, and friendly lunch environment.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise students and remain aware of their whereabouts
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leaders
Support appropriate indoor and outdoor play activities
Assist with emergency situations, including fire drills
Requirements: Less than high school graduation plus additional training
Minimum one month of experience required
Good communication skills and a positive demeanor
Experience working with children
Ability to monitor multiple activities and attend student needs
