Operate hydro-vac units and heavy equipment with the City of Regina in Regina, Saskatchewan, supporting Sewer and Drainage Operations.
As an Equipment Operator III, you will operate Class III equipment within the Field Operations team. The work includes equipment maintenance, water infrastructure support, valve operation, field locates, and interpreting system drawings. You may also direct or train employees assigned as helpers.
Key Responsibilities: Operate hydro-vac units, loaders, boilers, and designated Class III equipment
Inspect, maintain, and perform minor equipment repairs
Thaw frozen valves, hydrants, catch basins, and water assets
Hydrovac and repair valves, curb stops, and underground utilities
Provide field locates and report completed work
Requirements: Minimum 2,000 hours as a Skilled Labourer in Water or Sewer Operations
Demonstrated ability to operate Class III equipment competently
Valid Class 3A license
Obtain Level 1 Operator Certification within one year
Ability to perform heavy physical work in inclement conditions
Bring Class III equipment operation, maintenance, and water infrastructure experience to the City of Regina’s field operations team.
