This Disability Support Worker position supports LutherCare Communities’ Group Home team. You will assist adults with cognitive and physical disabilities while reflecting compassionate care, inclusion, integrity, and excellence in serving. The work includes personal care, resident programming, home maintenance, and community participation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bathing and toileting
Support dressing, eating, and resident safety
Implement individual lifestyle plans for residents
Facilitate daily living activities and community participation
Complete housekeeping, laundry, meals, and snacks
Requirements: Grade 12 education with residential disability support experience
Food Secure Certificate is required
Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
Fluent English reading, writing, speaking, and interpretation
Basic Skills Training must be completed through LCC
Bring compassionate personal care, resident programming, and household support to LutherCare Communities’ Group Home team.
