Artificial intelligence and software architecture meet in this full-time postdoctoral position at Université de Sherbrooke’s 3IT in Canada. Develop systems supporting BRAVE breast imaging research.
Working under Prof. Jean-Baptiste Michaud with collaborators Prof. Elijah Van Houten and Prof. Valérie Grandbois, you will advance BRAVE toward clinical translation. The position focuses on distributed software, computer vision, data analytics, and medical technologies. You will contribute within a multidisciplinary setting spanning engineering and CRCHUS.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement the software platform maturation strategy
Modernize architecture using agents and microservices
Develop computer vision and artificial intelligence algorithms




Manage datasets for model training and evaluation
Support clinical studies and technology transfer activities
Requirements: PhD in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or related field
Experience developing complex software systems and architectures
Knowledge of software lifecycle management practices
Strong interest in medical technologies and applied research
Communication skills in French or English
Apply software architecture, artificial intelligence, and data processing expertise to BRAVE’s breast imaging platform at 3IT.
