As Store Manager, you will develop employees and help Pet Parents choose nutrition and other pet solutions. You will manage daily retail activities while supporting customer and community relationships. The position requires operational, administrative, and business-results coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Coach employees on sales techniques and customer service
Recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and assign team tasks
Maintain courteous community relationships with local organizations
Coordinate orders, inventory, audits, repairs, and paperwork
Coordinate staff efforts toward targeted business results
Requirements: Minimum two years customer service and retail management experience
Enthusiasm for learning and growth in pet care
Robust customer service skills and friendly personality
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
Bring retail management, team coaching, and pet care enthusiasm to Pet Valu’s Calgary store team and Pet Parents.
