Island Health seeks an RN or RPN for a multidisciplinary Intensive Case Management Team. The nurse provides assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and support for clients with mental health and substance use needs. Services occur primarily in community settings, with facility services as required.
Key Responsibilities: Assess clients’ physical, mental, functional, and environmental needs
Develop and maintain client-centered rehabilitation programs
Administer medications and monitor psychotropic side effects
Provide case management, counseling, and crisis intervention




Coordinate care with families and community resources
Requirements: Recognized nursing program graduation and two years’ MHSU experience
Six months supporting substance use clients in community settings
Current practicing RN or RPN registration with BCCNM
Current CPR certification and relevant legislation knowledge
Ability to manage aggressive behaviour using non-violent techniques
Apply mental health assessment, case management, and rehabilitation expertise as an Intensive Case Management Nurse with Island Health.
