Apply your 442A electrical expertise at Saputo as a Maintenance, Licensed Electrician supporting dairy processing equipment. Work Wednesday through Saturday afternoons and nights.
This maintenance role covers electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and automation systems in a dairy operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will repair filling, pasteurizing, packaging, and conveyor systems. You will also complete preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, modify electrical equipment, and interpret technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Repair filling, pasteurizing, packaging, and conveyor equipment
Complete preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment
Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to support production efficiencies
Test equipment for continuity, current, voltage,



and resistance
Follow GMP, quality, sanitation, and safety requirements
Requirements: Hold a 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification
Provide Skilled Trades Ontario or Interprovincial Red Seal certification
Bring three years of industrial electromechanical and PLC experience
Bring one year of food industry or packaging experience
Support afternoon shifts, weekends, overtime, or on-call work
Use licensed electrical, PLC, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills to support Saputo’s automated dairy operations.
